Making Sure Elvis History Is Not Lost To History

BIRTH AND REBIRTH OF THE ELVIS ARCHIVAL PRESERVATION SOCIETY Initially, the EAP Society was formed from Jamie and a group of close friends who had the goal of getting together to enjoy and preserve Elvis history in any way they could. That goal came a step closer when one of the initial members, Mark Shaffer, came across a never- before-heard performance by Elvis in Meridian, MS, 1955. Jamie confirmed that it was unreleased, and helped get this to Sony/BMG/RCA for release on the FTD collector’s label, and eventually in a wider public world- wide relase “A Boy From Tupelo,” and thus the EAP Society helped save a piece of Elvis history for fans everywhere! Now, the newly-formed 2nd iteration of the EAP Society broadens that scope, as Jamie and John put forth their YouTube channel and audiovisual podcast to showcase and discuss Elvis stories, artifacts, and memorabilia, with the larger goal of preserving the memories and stories from that era to today - as well as visual content and artifacts in the best quality possible for fellow historically-minded fans to enjoy. In addition, they will dive deep into multiple aspects of Elvis history and fandom to uncover information many fans have never heard before, and bring a fresh perspective to both new and known parts of the Elvis world. ALL WHILE HAVING A LOT OF FUN DOING IT - AND YOU’RE INVITED TO JOIN IN OUR EFFORTS!
